Meat Loaf

~1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
~3/4 cup tomato sauce
~1/4 cup mustard
~3/4 cup oatmeal
~1 large egg
~1/4 cup chopped onion (make sure and chop them small so they cook through)
~1 clove minced garlic
~1/2 tablespoon oregano
~1/2 teaspoon salt
~1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

~1 part A-1
~3 parts ketchup

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine ingredients. Press into 8x4 mold and top with sauce.
3. Bake for 1 hour, or until meat is no longer pink and juices run clear. Drain.
4. Add a little more sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

A great suggestion to cook meatloaf that my grandmother shared today is to cook it in muffin pans so you have individual servings! Great for singles or couples who want to freeze the rest or a family who wants to help define a portion.

OH, that is a GREAT idea! I love it! I am def going to be doing it that way next time. Perfect for the kids and to send with Brian for lunch at work! Thanks for the idea!
